14) Squeegee
material to prepare for sanding.
15) After 30
minutes, sand to contour with 80 grit on DA sander. Heat (not a flame, use
a heat gun, similar to a blow dryer but hotter) will accelerate cure time.
16) Finish
sanding with 150 or finer grit.
17) The repair is now ready for
primer. Remove tape from underside.
18) To
ensure optimum primer adhesion, flame treat repair area.
19) Prime with
flexible primer.
20) Apply top
coat per paint manufacturer's instructions.
